Metropol Group opens Tulip Inn Putnik hotel in New Belgrade on November 30

The tourist offer of the capital city will be officially enriched tomorrow by another hotel - New Belgrade's Tulip Inn Putnik. The building in Palmira Toljatija Street, built in 1972, has been completely renovated, and the investor and new owner is Russian Metropol Group.

The former hotel of Putnik travel agency today has three stars and it will offer its guests 85 standard rooms, 12 suites, spa and fitness center, two restaurants and one congress room, as well as a parking lot. Tulip Inn Putnik Belgrade has nine floors and occupies about 8,500 square meters of space. All rooms are furnished for the stay on business so that they all have a work table, telephone, radio and TV set, mini bar, safe deposit box, high-speed Internet access. The hotel is suitable for the visitors who come to Belgrade as regular tourists, as well as for organization of congresses because it comprises a conference room with 250 seats and all the necessary equipment such as plasma screens, projectors, sound systems, and simultaneous translation equipment.

Tulip Inn Putnik hotel is 15 km away from Nikola Tesla airport and about 6 km away from the city center. It was built nearly four decades ago according to the project authored by architect Mihajlo Mitrovic. Due to years-long problems of its privatization, as a part of the property of Putnik travel agency, it was closed for almost two years.
