Leskovac provided sites for construction of houses and shops - Investors have 10,500 square meters available

For the first time after almost two decades, the Directorate of Urban Planning and Construction of Leskovac offered at auction to investors, four locations with the precisely defined conditions, for building of 10 500 square meters of apartments and shops. Initial costs depend on the location and allowable square footage, so the highest initial cost, 66 million dinars, has the location on a street corner Djuro Salaj and Jelena Kostic St. which is planed area for five thousand square meters of high apartment buildings.
The location of King Peter, that is the old bus station, is reserved for building of a business area of 2.3 thousand square meters. The street of Master Josic, near the vila "Cinderella", is resereved for residential and office building area of 1.2 thousand square meters, and in the settlement of Spitalj, there will be built high residential buildings on the are of two thousand square meters.
From the interest of the customers depends on how much money will be merged into the city treasury from an initial 130 million dinars.
Dragana Stosic, Assistant Mayor for Urban Planning and Municipal Affairs says that this introduces order into the chaos that is often present in these investments. She says that this is a very attractive location.
- Our goal is to protect investors from problem situations. Usually they had to buy their own private plots and then have big problems as their projects comply with the conditions that must be met. Now they get a clean and transparent situation - says the Assistant Mayor and points out that there is a great interest of construction companies from Leskovac, but also from entire Serbia.
