Belgrade finances elaboration of study on high facilities

The Secretariat for City Planning and Development is going to finance elaboration of study on high facilities in Belgrade. The study will be done by the City Planning Institute of Belgrade within the next six months and the job will cost about 5m RSD.

- According to the valid general land-utilization plan, facilities with more than eight floors can not be built in Belgrade. The only exception is New Belgrade where maximum allowed number of floors is twelve. The task of this study is to determine the locations, based on the given criteria, where the facilities with more floors can be built because the interest of investors exists. Completion of the study will be followed by a public discussion, after which the board members of the City Assembly will give their opinions about it - said Žaklina Gligorijević, the CEO of the City Planning Institute of Belgrade.
