Serbian Multicon Engineering draws plans for 200m EUR worth of business-residential and hotel complex in Bahrain
Serbian company Multicon Engineering signed the contract yesterday (February 1st, 2010) for the job that includes the project supervision and drawing of plans for big business-residential and hotel complex in Bahrain. Future complex in the city of Manami will comprise two towers of 60 and 52 floors, and it will occupy the surface of over 70,000 square meters.
- Total value of this investment is 200m EUR and it represents only the first phase of the big investment project that includes different infrastructural facilities and high-rise buildings, for which the investors from Bahrain and Saudi Arabia plan to set aside nearly 1 billion EUR - it is stated in the company's announcement.
With the aim of expanding the business in the markets of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, Multicon Engineering signed the contract with company Asedco from Dhahran in Saudi Arabia in January 2010 on cooperation in the works on drawing the plans and running the construction.
The contract was signed by the owner of Multicon Engineering, Dragan Kovačević, and the owner of company Asedco, Ali A. Saleh. This "joint venture" has over 250 highly qualified experts of various profiles who are capable of dealing with the biggest architectural and building challenges.
This contract also enables engagement of additional number of Serbian engineers of all vocations in the works that are expected in the following period.
