Spatial plan to be made for restricted-purpose territory of international waterway E80 - the Danube through Serbia
The Government of the Republic of Serbia made the decision in mid-January 2010 on elaboration of the Spatial plan for the restricted-purpose territory of international waterway E80 – the Danube, also known as Pan-European Corridor VII.
The territory of the Spatial plan includes parts of the territories of seven cities, 15 municipalities and the whole municipalities of Sremski Karlovci and Kladovo. It includes the cities of Belgrade, Novi Sad, Sombor, Zrenjanin, Pančevo, Smederevo, Požarevac, and the municipalities of Apatin, Odžaci, Bač, Bačka Palanka, Beočin, Bački Petrovac, Inđija, Titel, Stara Pazova, Kovin, Bela Crkva, Veliko Gradište, Golubac, Majdanpek and Negotin
The Spatial plan will be made by the Republic Spatial Planning Agency, and the deadline for its completion is 12 months. Making of the Spatial plan will be accompanied by the strategic estimate of the Spatial plan's influence on environment.
