Plan for detailed regulation of economic zone "Autoput" in New Belgrade, Zemun and Surčin adopted

- The Assembly of the city of Belgrade adopted the Plan for detailed regulation of economic zone "Autoput" in New Belgrade, Zemun and Surčin at yesterday's meeting (December 29, 2009), as well as the Report on strategic appraisal of the plan's influence on environment - "Beoinfo" announced.
According to the words of Slobodan Dimitrijević from the Secretariat of City Planning and Construction, this plan is of great important to the city and it has an investment character.
– It is the zone alongside the highway, which will be used, primarily, for economic and commercial activities. Its surface is about 1,000 ha. The zone is treated as the city's significant development potential and we expect large investments in it in the following period. It is also important to say that the study on influence of the plan on environment has also been elaborated – said Dimitrijević.
The Board members also adopted the decisions on commencement of making of six plans for detailed regulation. Dimitrijević pointed out that the City Assembly had adopted 17 plans for detailed regulation and made 45 decisions on making new plans in 2009.
