"Zelena glava" to open its doors in spring - construction of tourist complex in vicinity of Apatin

Shortly before the beginning of the next season, most probably in April or May 2010, Apatin will enrich its tourist offer.

That is when tourist complex "Zelena glava", within nature reserve "Gornje Podunavlje", should be finished and offered to potential guests. This hotel-catering complex, about 2 km away from Apatin, occupies the surface of 8.5 ha, 2.5 ha of which is the surface of natural lake.

The project, of which author is local company "Pelus", is based on the idea of an acknowledged entrepreneur from Apatin and former owner of factory of building materials "Elba", Sveto Bajić, who directed major share of funds granted by French company "Saint Gobaine" into new investments. He has invested the money not only in the businesses he's familiar with, but also in something completely new - tourism. While he negotiates with a company from South Korea on construction of a factory of insulation materials, his tourist complex "Zelena glava" is being finished, and he will try to use it to conquer the tourist market in an original way, by offering the unexploited potentials of this part of Vojvodina.

In this magnificent natural ambient, Bajić is having a restaurant with a congress hall and summer balcony built, as well as a hotel with 40 beds, 30 bungalows, six of which will be suites, a belvedere, windmills, mini horse farm, sports fields and other tourist contents. He's looking at the future jobs with optimism and contemplates how tourism is so beautiful that it would be a shame not to use the opportunity to do business in that field. He is pleasantly surprised with the market response because large number of people, mainly from Belgrade and Novi Sad, as well as from Croatia, expressed interest in renting bungalow on long period of time.
