Up to 8 years of prison for illegal construction - Dulić announced arrests

The Minister of Environment Protection and Spatial Planning, Oliver Dulić, announced last night (November 26th) at the meeting of Slovenian Business Club in Belgrade that those civil engineers who had resumed construction of facilities without license in Serbia and Belgrade even after inspectors had forbidden them to do that would be arrested soon.

The Minister also announced that the regulation on conversion of the right to use of city building land into the ownership right would be prepared within the next few days.

Dulić said that that regulation would determine the fees for conversion of rights and added that those who had privatized factories, closed them and turned them into building land would pay the largest fee.

Dulić invited Slovenian investors to invest in construction of regional landfills in Serbia and added that the landfill management strategy anticipated construction of 24 regional landfills in Serbia, while there were only 3 in our country at the moment.
