Unsuccessful tender for sale of Institute "Simo Milošević" in Igalo?
(Institute "Simo Milošević)
Tender for privatization of Institute "Simo Milošević" will, most probably, be cancelled - a member of the Tender committee told Beta agency. The tender for sale of 56.4% of state-owned stocks of that health institute was announced in April 2008.
The sales contract that was signed with the first-ranked bidder - Swiss company "Home Art and Sales Services", owned by Serbian businessman Filip Zepter, was cancelled in April 2009, and the second-ranked bidder - Austrian "Christof Group", gave up the procurement as well.
The member of the Tender committee said that that committee was "on its way" to cancel the tender, and the reasons why Austrian "Christof Group" gave up the procurement will be known within the few days following the meeting of the committee.
"Christof Group" offered 25m EUR for 56.4% of stocks of the Institute and the investment programme worth 45m EUR.
Austrian company was the second-ranked on the tender and it was invited to the negotiations after the contract with Zepter's company was cancelled because it failed to pay 20m EUR for the state-owned package of stocks of health-recreation center in Igalo on time.
