Draft project for "House of Football" finished - solution by Traffic Institute CIP

"House of Football", the largest project in the history of Serbian football, will include 6 football fields, 2 training boxes, 2 tennis courts, swimming pool, accommodation facilities for sportsmen, offices, sports service and a hall with sports block. "House of Football", in which 15 Serbian football teams will be training, will be built by the end of year 2010 in Stara Pazova, at the surface of 11.3 ha. The project has been elaborated by Traffic Institute CIP.

- This sports center is specific because it is the only of the kind in Serbia. As far as technology, functionality and concept are concerned, our model was "House of Football" in Budapest, which has been visited by CIP's team, but the design of Serbian "House of Football" is the idea of our architects – Gordana Vasiljević-Milovanović, the coordinator and responsible architect of the national football center, told "eKapija".

Realization of construction of the complex will consist of three phases. The first phase anticipates construction of 4 football fields with natural grass, 2 training boxes with natural grass at 37,838 square meters, one football field with artificial grass, infrastructure, fence around the fields and protective fence around the complex. The tender for construction of football fields was announced on June 19th.

The bids of the contractors for construction of future hotel and accompanying facilities will be collected starting from mid-August. These facilities should be built in the second phase of construction, which anticipates development of the central block, office block, accommodation block, sport service, sports hall, technical block, infrastructure and tennis courts at 1,310 square meters. This phase also includes works on organization of the space around facilities, that is, junctions, parking lots, access plateau, park surfaces.

Swimming pool, stands next to the football field for public use, covered sports field and trim track around the complex, in the zone of protective greenery, should be built in the last phase.

The carrier of the "House of Football" project is the Football Association of Serbia, while the CIP's team of authors who worked on this project consists of architects Gordana Vasiljević- Milovanovic, Svetlana Karanović and Zoran Mitić.
