"Mercator" to open "Roda" trade center in Kruševac in mid-summer

Trade company "Mercator S" has announced today (April 30, 2009) that it will open new trade center “Roda” Kruševac this summer and, thus, create jobs for 250 people.

- Construction of the facility where "Roda" trade center will be situated, at about 20,000 square meters, is close to end – said the people in company "Mercator S", which operates within Slovenian company "Mercator".

As they explained, besides the megamarket, the trade center will also include specialized "Mercator’s" stores with household appliances and articles, sports clothing and gear and perfumes.

There will also be about 40 specialized stores with local and foreign brands of textile, footwear, clothing, toys, fashion accessories, catering facilities, post office, pharmacy and bank office.

People in company "Mercator S" said that the company would directly employ 112 out of total of 250 people in the new trade center, while the rest would be employed through the open competition that would be open prior to May 3rd.
