"Delta" got additional time to pay installment for Stožice – 19m EUR to be paid prior to April 14th

The Mayor of Ljubljana, Zoran Janković, said today (April 7, 2009) that the deadline for trade company “Delta” to pay the second installment for retail section in sports-trade center "Stožice" had been extended by one week.

Janković said at the press conference that "Delta" would stay "in the game" if it paid the second installment in amount of 19m EUR. If it fails to do that, the new partner will be invited to enter the project.

The Mayor of Ljubljana is of the opinion that the best scenario is that "Delta" stays in the game, but more details will be known at the next press conference, which will be held on the building site of the new stadium and trade center in one week.

Janković said that "Delta" and company "Grep", which is in charge of construction of Stožice, agreed in Zagreb on Friday to reduce facility by 10%, after which its price would be 30m EUR smaller, that is, it would amount to 202m EUR.

“Delta” has offered 40 ha of land in Belgrade, which costs 30m EUR, as an additional guarantee for its participation in construction of the facility in Ljubljana.
