"Roda center" opened in Sabac - 20 million euros invested

Slovenian trade chain "Merkator S" has opened up today (February, 25th, 2009) "Roda center" in Sabac, in which it invested 20 million euros.

It is estimated that around 300 Sabac residents will get job positions in this megamarket and in 37 specialized stores in the center, which spreads on 23.000 square meters and provides 206 parking places.

According to the data given at the openning of "Roda center", city of Sabac received 1,5 million euros for the location in the central city zone.

Sabac city Mayer, Milos Milosevic, stated that in the "present economic situation", it was very significant for the citizens that "Roda center" would open up new working opportunities.

President of the Management Board of "Mercator S", Stanka Curovic, stated that construction of the mall was finalized after "exactly 9 months and in spite of bad weather conditions and financial crisis".
