Company "Gorenje" opened business center in Belgrade - investment worth 10m EUR
Slovenian company "Gorenje" opened about 10m EUR worth of business center in New Belgrade last night (December 9, 2008).
The CEO of "Gorenje" in Serbia, Marko Mrzel, said at the press conference that that center occupied the surface of 8,000 square meters and that it included administrative center "Gorenje", "Gorenje studio", office space for companies "Gorenje invest" and "Gorenje projekt" and the space for rent.
As he explained, "Gorenje studio" has the greatest offer of "Gorenje" products, that is, appliances, household appliances and kitchent elements.
The new business center will have 15 employees.
The Director General of "Gorenje", Franjo Bobinac, said that the opening of that center would represent stimulus for trade partners and he added that that company was satisfied with its previous operations in Serbia.
He reminded that "Gorenje" had two factories in Serbia, one in Valjevo and one in Stara Pazova, and he added that "Gorenje" had 1,000 employees in Serbia.
According to the words of Bobinac, that company does not plan to reduce number of workers in Serbia since the production is very stable.
As he explained, company "Gorenje" expects to sell 315,000 products in Serbia in 2009, which is about 8% of total sales of "Gorenje group".
