Lidl to arrive to Paracin too – Procedure of issuing building permit in progress
The procedure of issuing the building permit for the facility the German store chain Lidl intends to build in Paracin is in progress, the president of the municipality of Paracin, Sasa Paunovic, posted on his Facebook profile.
Paunovic also published the plan for 10 office and production facilities, also in the process of obtaining building permits, among which is the parcel bought by Lidl.
– This is just one of the ten office and production facilities, and not the biggest one either, which are in the process of obtaining building permits and the total area of which is close to a half of the production area of the former textile factory (Stofara), a little over 15,000 m2 – Paunovic said.
He added that it was not up to the municipality to answer when the Lidl facility is to be built.
– Is the procedure of issuing the building permit in progress? Yes, and it is subject to strict regulations. Once the investor completes the project documentation, which should happen fairly soon, it will get the permit – he said.
This German store chain recently opened a job contest for the employment of 1,000 people in towns throughout Serbia.
