British architectural bureau “Chapman Taylor“ designed new version of facade for shopping mall at Ušće

British architectural bureau “Chapman Taylor“ from London has designed the new version of the facade for shopping mall at Ušće.

That is the third and, probably, the final version of the looks of the biggest trade center in the Balkans, which is being intensively built next to business center “Ušće“. In order for shopping mall “Ušće“ to have the facade designed according to the up-to-date trends in architecture, “MPC Properties“ hired a respectable British bureau to design the final solution.

The new shopping mall will have 160 shops with local and foreign brands (90% of outlets are leased in advance), supermarket at 3,500 square meters, restaurants and bars at 1,000 square meters and multiplex cinema with 11 halls. The whole facility will be built at 130,000 square meters and it will have 2,000 parking places. The value of the investment is 150m EUR. Completion of works is expected in the first quarter of year 2009.

“MPC properties“ also intensively works at another two locations in Belgrade. At the lot of former cafe “Tri lista duvana“, which is situated at the corner of Kralja Aleksandra Boulevard and Kneza Miloša Street, rough construction has been finished. People in “MPC Properties“ say that the building will be developed “for well-known renter“. At Kalemegdan, next to the Museum of Pedagogy, the lot is cleared for construction of “Park Suites Kalemegdan“.

According to the project, the building at the corner of Cincar-Jankova Street and Taduša Košćuška Street, will have ground floor and six floors. Outlets will be placed on the ground floor, while all other floors will be reserved for residential space. According to the plan, there will be three underground levels where garages, spa centers and swimming pool will be situated.

The size of the apartments that will be facing the Kalemegdan park will range between 150 and 350 square meters, while the size of those facing Cara Uroša Street will range from 80 to 105 square meters. All of them are already reserved, and the minimum price per square meter, according to the estimates of real estate agents, will be 4,000 EUR. This investment is worth 30m EUR.
