New commercial building to be raised near White Palace in Dedinje

A new commercial complex is to be built in close proximity to the White Palace in Dedinje soon, Novosti reports in the issue of Tuesday, January 30, 2018.

Office space, outlets and restaurants will most probably be built by the end of the current year in the Velisava Vulovica Street, next to the no. 4, in Dedinje.

– We bought the land from the previous owners in 2006 – the main investor, Ivan Prstic, told Novosti.

– We carried out the conversion and waited for a good moment for the works to start. Conditions for construction activities were not favorable and it is good that we waited.

Since the Municipality of Savski Venac is not authorized to issue building permits for plots of land larger than 800 m2, the investors addressed the city. The permits and all the required documentation were obtained last year.

– We are building a commercial facility, which will contain offices and outlets. There are interested parties. The current plan is to have a pharmacy, a market, a restaurant and a garage here. We are glad that the city has recognized our wish to commercially revive this part of Dedinje – Prstic says.
