Sava Centar looking for partner again - New invitation soon

Sava Centar will be offered to investors once again in order to find a partner for reconstruction and management, and in the meantime, several public utility companies will write off their claims towards the congress center.

This was decided by members of the City Assembly of Belgrade, who authorized the mayor to initiate and carry out the procedure of the selection of a partner for reconstruction and management of the PE Sava Centar facility, as well as to form a commission for the carrying out of the procedure of the selection of a partner.

The City Assembly also adopted a decision ordering the public utility enterprises Beogradske Elektrane, Gradska Cistoca and Beogradski Vodovod i Kanalizacija to write off their debts with interest towards Sava Centar, which make up around 80% of the company's liabilities towards public utility enterprises.

The first public invitation for a partner for reconstruction and management of the congress center failed.
