"Zagrepčanka" - second "Delta City"? - Mišković took over tender documentation for procurement of 100,000 square meters of "Zagrepčanka"

(Miroslav Mišković)

Miroslav Mišković has taken over the tender documentation for procurement of 100,000 square meters of "Zagrepčanka" from the Zagreb-based holding.

Although the people in the Holding are hiding the information concerning the sale of former meat-packing industry "Zagrepčanka", which was bought in 2001 by Mayor of Zagreb, Milan Bandić, for 15m KM, "Jutarnji list" found out that, in addition to the company owned by Miroslav Mišković, another 7 companies were competing for that Zagreb-based company.

Prior to August 29, when public opening of bids will take place, all interested entrepreneurs will have to offer minimum 25m EUR, which is the lowest price suggested by the Holding's administration. The buyer of the land will then have to found joint trade venture with the Holding.

People from the Holding announced earlier that Mišković was interested in buying "Zagrepčanka". According to the latest information, the richest Serb seeks the land in the center of Zagreb that is big enough for construction of the largest trade center in Croatia, similar to the one in Slovenia in which he invested 250m EUR.

It is not known whether 100,000 square meters will be enough for that investment, but people from his company announced last year that he intended to buy smaller slaughterhouse and meat-packing industry in Zagreb.
