Israeli "Plaza" rented 2 ha of land in Kragujevac on 99 years – contract signed
Representatives of Israeli company "Plaza Centers" and the Assembly
of Kragujevac have signed the contract today (August 15, 2008) on 99-year rental
of land to that company for construction of a modern trade-business and
entertainment center.
The Israeli company rented 2 ha of land in settlement Stara Radnička Kolonija at price of 20,000 EUR per are to have its first center in southeast Europe built in Serbia.
The CEO of company "Plaza Centers", Sagiv Meger, said on the occasion of the contract signing that the value of the facility that Kragujevac would get was 50m USD and that it would be built at 80,000 square meters.
- If everything goes as planned and we get all the necessary documentation on time, construction of the facility will commence on September 1st and it will be finished in 18 months, just like anywhere in the world, because we have high standards that we respect – said Meger.
He pointed out that "the company will invest all efforts to give Kragujevac what it deserves".
The contract was signed in the presence of the Mayor of Kragujevac, Veroljub Stevanović, who said that the construction of that facility would create 1,000 jobs.
According to earlier announcement of company "Plaza Centers", it will be the state-of-the-arts multifunctional trade-business and entertainment center, the best among all thirty in the world, because the modern architectural achievements will be used in its construction.
