Opening of three renovated department stores from RK "Beograd's" chain in October - "Beograđanka" to be opened before New Year

Three renovated department stores from the department store chain RK "Beograd" will be opened in October in Belgrade. New department stores RK Beograd will also be opened in Niš, Subotica and Kragujevac in mid-December.

The largest facility in that chain - "Beograđanka", will be opened few days before the New Year.

Company RK "Beograd" became the property of company "Verano Motors" and Greek "Marfin Investments Group" in October 2008 for 360m EUR.

The sale of RK "Beograd" represents the largest privatization income in 2007, as well as the largest income from sale of property in bankruptcy.

RK "Beograd’s" chain consists of 34 departments stores in Serbia at about 200,000 square meters, eight of which are in Belgrade at nearly 65,000 square meters.

Works on complete reconstruction of interior are underway.
