Matijevic, has said today that in a few days reconstruction and redesign of the
Jugoexport building at the Republic Square in Belgrade into a four-star hotel named Centar Beograd will begin in a few days.

provided and that works on the façade and in the interior would start at the
same time.

- I paid approximately EUR 7,5 m for a building of 5,500 square meters and I
will invest as much so the hotel will cost me app. EUR 14 m – Matijevic said.According to him, the hotel will be named Centar since also his hotel in Novi Sad has the same name and they are both in the city centre. He added that 30 people will be hired at the Centar hotel in Belgrade, and it is planned to be opened by the end of this year.
