Croatia seeking investor for hotel in Vis – International tender for Ceska Vila complex open until October 16
The Ministry of State Property of the Republic of Croatia is looking for a concessionaire for Ceska Vila, former Yugoslav People's Army (YPA) facility in the town of Vis on the eponymous island.
An international tender has been opened, and the deadline for the submission of bids to the Ministry of State property of Croatia is October 16, 2017, at 11:59 p.m.
After around twenty years of deterioration, Ceska Vila will finally be reconstructed, renamed, and turned into a four-star hotel, with the capacity of 100 beds and an optional extension by another 60 beds. The complex encompasses the property of 3.7 hectares (land section), as well as 4,000 m2 of seaside space, within which a promenade and a beach, also the subject of concession, will be developed, says the notice of the international public invitation.
The deadline for the entire realization of the Ceska Vila project, that is, the preparation of construction, the construction, the categorization of the hotel (accommodation and hospitality facilities) and putting them into operation, is 36 months from the date of the signing of the agreement.
As stated in the tender documentation, the hotel will be leased to the selected investor for a period of up to 50 years.
Potential investors from Serbia can contact Stjepan Glas from the Embassy of Croatia in Belgrade for more information.
In the past years, several Croatian and foreign entrepreneurs have been interested in investing in the Ceske Vile complex, the Croatian media remind.
