"Energoprojekt holding" signed contract in Nigeria on works worth 4.7m EUR

Belgrade-based “Energoprojekt holding" has signed the new contract in Nigeria on works worth 4.7m EUR.

The works include mechanical and electric works in the palace of the Governor of Nigerian Federal State of Aqua Ibom, which should be finished prior to July 2009.

Realization of the project was agreed on at the beginning of July by daughter-company of Belgrade-based development holding "Energoprojekt oprema" and German company "Bilfinger Berger" through dependent foreign companies "Energonigeria" and "Julius Berger Nigeria".

"Energoprojekt" points out that the signing of the new contract has been enabled by the successful cooperation between the companies on the construction of the first phase of the Senate building in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria.

"Energoprojekt holding" is one of the three companies on the A list of the Belgrade Stock Exchange and, according to the business plan for year 2008, this company should sign 322.9m EUR worth of new contracts, which is 13% more than in 2007.
