Companies "Merkur", "Sombor", "Izbor", "Vrdnik" and "Udarnik" on auction on June 20 in Novi Sad

Privatization Agency of Serbia will organize the auction for sale of five companies from Vojvodina tomorrow (June 20, 2008) in SPorts-Business Center Vojvodina in Novi Sad.

Starting price of company for production of leather accessories "Merkur" from Bačka Palanka is 43.8m RSD and buyer's obligation is to invest 16m RSD in the company. The most important property of "Merkur" includes two production halls, nine apartments in Bačka Palanka, 3,622 square meters of office space and stores in Valjevo, Sombor, Niš and Bor.

Agricultural combine "Sombor", of which main field of work is wholesale trade in food products, will be offered for sale for 52.8m RSD. At the previous auction, when there were no interested buyers, starting price of that company was 75.3m RSD.

Trade company "Izbor" from Bačka Palanka will be offered for sale at starting price of 42.8m RSD. The most important property of "Izbor" includes department store at 4,279 square meters, a building in Tovariševo and approximately 1 ha of building land.

Starting price of mining-building company "Vrdnik" is 32.2m RSD. In addition to several administrative and business buildings, the most important posession of the company is 2.7 ha of agricultural land and around 4 ha of forest.

Starting price for Zrenjanin-based stocking factory "Udarnik" is 27.6m RSD. The buyer is obliged to additionally invest another 26.5m RSD. In addition to production halls and equipment, warehouse for ready-made goods and store in New Belgrade, "Udarnik" also uses 1.6 ha of state-owned land.
