Construction of the highest apartment building in Europe, worth 45 mil EUR, has started – one square meter 6.000 EUR

Construction boom in Spain may have died, but seaside resort Benidrom is still growing – up high. Last summer, they begun with construction of a building which will be the highest apartment residence in Europe – with 52 floors and 200 m high.

“In Tempo” building in Benidorm, or “vertical city”, will cost 45 mil EUR, and once when it would be finished in 2010, it will have two golden towers which will be connected on the top with decorative elements in the shape of a turned down diamond.

At the front its shape reminds of number 11 and letter M, therefore it represents a memory of the train bomb victims who died in Madrid, on March, 11th, 2004.
