Second IKEA department store in Belgrade to be built next to Novi Sad highway?

The second IKEA department store in Belgrade is to be built alongside the Novi Sad highway, Blic writes.

The definite location has not yet been chosen, but IKEA is considering several options for its second facility in the capital of Serbia. What is certain is that the department store will be located next to the highway to Novi Sad, the Belgrade-based newspaper writes.

Vladislav Lalic, Regional Property & Expansion Manager at IKEA South East Europe, recently announced that the company “has already started activities related to the acquisition of land for the second department store in the capital of Serbia”.

Let us remind that the construction of the first IKEA store in Bubanj Potok is well on its way. The store will open for shoppers this summer.
