Planinka to build luxury hotel in Lukovska Banja – Value of investment around EUR 4 million

The Kursumlija-based tourist company Planinka is to start building another hotel in Lukovska Banja. The four-star hotel will have 200 beds.

The company's general manager, Radovan Raicevic, said that, due to great interest by local and foreign tourists, a luxury hotel at the entrance to the spa would be built before the end of the year.

– We will develop it in line with the desires and needs of the tourists. It will be a luxury hotel with all the medical components, a wellness center and everything else necessary for the most demanding guests to be satisfied – Raicevic said.

The construction of the new hotel will cost around EUR 4 million.

There are two hotels in Lukovska Banja – Kopaonik (63 rooms) and Jelak (84 rooms).

According to Planinka, all the capacities in Lukovska Banja are full throughout the year, and according to the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, the biggest demand for tourist vouchers is for Lukovska Banja precisely.
