"Tuš" supermarket opened in Sombor- Slovenian group plans to have 100 stores built in Serbia

Slovenian group "Tuš" had opened supermarket today (April 16, 2008) in Sombor, in which it invested 250m RSD and hired 42 workers. Supermarket "Tuš" is in Staparski put Street, its surface is 1,500 square meters and it includes supermarket "Tuš" and a cafe. The facility was built by Belgrade-based building company "Panoinvest".
The ribbon at the opening of the new store was cut by Mayor of Sombor, Dr. Jovan Slavković, and Executive Manager of group "Tuš", Aleksander Svetelšek, who said on that occasion that trade center "Tuš" in Sombor was the first in the cycle of planned investments in Serbia.
The long-term plans of Group "Tuš" for Serbia is to have 100 trade centers built in this country. The value of the Group's investments in the markets of Serbia, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2008 amounts to over 60m EUR. In that way, another seven facilities will be built by the end of the year in Subotica, Novi Sad, Belgrade, Sremska Mitrovica and Jagodina.
Slovenian trade company will opet total of 18 new facilities in three neighboring countries in 2008 - Serbia, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
On that occasion, Group "Tuš" donated 80,000 RSD to the Association of Mentally Disturbed People of Sombor.
In less than 20 years, Group "Tuš" developed from small local trader into the group of companies whose basic activities are trade, fun, recreation, catering, real estates and energy.
