Public invitation to investors for tourist complex on Žabljak

Privatization Council of Montenegro has announced public invitation for all interested international investors to express their interest in long-term rental of complex "Mediteran" on Žabljak, including construction and management of high-class facilities, prior to March 3rd.

The intention of the Government is to provide comprehensive development of that destination in unique, multifunctional tourist complex of high class.

National park "Durmitor", in which "Mediteran" is situated, imposes the concept of construction of an exclusive hotel complex whose facilities will be built in accordance with the location and, at the same time, they will be offering variety of recreation activities.

It has been confirmed that the renter will pay annual rent on the basis of turnover, and the minimum guaranteed amount will be determined. The bidder should submit the plan for investments in the location for the period of 3 years starting from the moment the lease contract is signed. Public international tender for tourist valorization of this location should be announced in the first half of March.
