Belgrade Waterfront getting two 85m-tall buildings – Residential buildings on ex container terminal site

Another construction site will be opened within the Belgrade Waterfront project soon. The construction of two residential buildings about 85 meters tall, along with a shared annex meant for commercial facilities, should start in late 2016 on the site of the former container terminal ZIT (Zeleznicki Integralni Transport).

As the specialized portal Beobuild reports, a two-story underground garage will be built underneath the structures, and the buildings will contain a larger number of smaller flats. The proposed design is undergoing public review at the moment.

A famous container crane has been removed from the location, and, according to the initial announcements, the construction might start in late 2016.
