The winner of the architectural competition for the conceptual design for the reconstruction and arrangement of the interior of the building of the Hemofarm business center is the team made up of architects Zoran Dmitrovic, Marija Bjelic, Nenad Blagojevic, Katarina Potparevic, Marija Radojlovic and Zoran Damjanovic.
This creative team won the first-place award of RSD 420,000. Members of the jury, Dr Ronald Seeliger, CEO at Hemofarm, senior lecturer Dr Milena Kordic and professor Zoran Lazovic, had reviewed a total of 15 applications before the closing of the competition on June 30.
The second-place prize is 240,000, and the award for the third place is 120,000 dinars. Considering the fact that all 15 projects are the result of extraordinary team work and creativity, Hemofarm is planning to share these architectural designs with the public through an exhibition to be organized this autumn.
According to the member of the jury professor Zoran Lazovic, the first prize deservedly went to the project with the code 71794W. They were the best by far regarding each of the three tasks.
– I'd like to especially point out the exceptionally well studied and excellent spatial organization. As well, their idea for the reconstruction of floors is extraordinary, as is the very successful and creative transformation of interiors into bright, cozy and aesthetically pleasing work environments. The winning team has also submitted an outstanding design of the new facade facing Prote Mateje Street, which takes into consideration the modern design and the brand name of Hemofarm, with the imperative of saving energy through implementing ecological construction components.
Let us remind that Hemofarm initiated the architectural competition in order to reach the best solution for the reconstruction of the company's business premises in Belgrade through a public professional contest.
At the same time, the company's management wished to professionally motivate architects, individuals and teams, but also students, to get involved in looking for a modern, creative, original, functional and aesthetic solution for Hemofarm's Belgrade office.
