Arabian businessman Ali Abdullah M al Macki from Qatar has bought objects of the Hotel-Hospitality Enterprise Evropa from Surdulica for over a million euros.

The four hotels are: “Srbija” in Surdulica, “Vilin Lug” in Crna Trava, and “Jezero” and “Promaja” on the coast of Vlasina Lake.

Arabian businessman bid the highest price at the auction, and the starting price was EUR 336,225. All the employees took their severance packages, which were EUR 200 per year of service.

Novica Toncev, Head of Municipal Council of Surdulica, couldn't tell anything about HHE Evropa's new owner to Blic.

- I invited him two days ago, and he visited the municipality yesterday. He said that all the hotels would be operational, and only two of them are now, and that he would invest money in sports tourism – said Toncev.
