Plan for detailed regulation of central zone of New Belgrade adopted

The Plan for detailed regulation of central zone of New Belgrade - part of Block 16, between Ušće (Danube Delta), Nikola Tesla Boulevard and public green surface along Mihaila Pupina Boulevard, was adopted yesterday (December 24, 2007) in the premises of the City Assembly.

This is the area of about 6 ha with "Ušce" building in its center. The new plan anticipates construction of 2,000 parking places, organization of the environment, especially around the future route of light metro that will go along Mihaila Pupina Boulevard, and one of the problems was the vicinity of the second tower of "Ušće" that had to be separated from the first bulding.

Also, six decisions were adopted yesterday about designing of plans for detailed regulation for: housing projects Sava's and lake terrace (borough of Čukarica), settlement Krnjača (Palilula) and Busije (Zemun), commercial zone lying west from the Ibar main road, as well as for the block between Paunova Street, Radomira Markovića Street and Oslobođenja Boulevard (Voždovac).
