Tenders for sale of "Zastava" and "Genex" hotels on December 27

- Tenders for sale of "Zastava automobili" and "Zastava - specijalna vozila", as well as for sale of certain "Genex" hotels, will be announced on December 27 - said Minister of Economy and Regional Development, Mlađan Dinkić, today (December 24, 2007).

He said at the press conference that the tenders would be announced in domestic media and in "Financial Times".

The minister expressed expectation that the period for delivery of bids for "Zastava automobili" would last for three months and that the deadline for obligatory offers would be the end of May.

As far as "Genex" is concerned, Dinkić said that the auction for sale of hotel "Continental", "Genex suites" and other hotels on Kopaonik would be held on March 31, 2008.

The condition on the tender will be that the bidders can only be the operators with certain reputation in the world and the ones who want to raise the hotels on Kopaonik to the four-star level, while even higher category is expected for "Continental".
