Plaza Centers announced the receipt of the construction permit for construction of the shopping mall in Belgrade’s settlement Visnjica. Belgrade Plaza project is an Euro 80 Million investment located in Visnjicka Street, adjacent to the Danube river. The construction will start in October 2015 and completion of the works is due in the first half of 2017.

Plaza Centers with its long term strategy has great hope in the Serbian market. We wish to replicate the success of our first project in Serbia, Kragujevac Plaza, but this time in Belgrade.

The Project is 61,000 m2 of total built area providing 32,335 m2 of leasable area located in three levels (two of which are retail and one is leisure and entertainment center). The project has four floors of underground parking space and outdoor parking garage area. Belgrade Plaza expects to attract variety of leading local and international retailers including new retailers to the Serbian Market.

-We see Belgrade Plaza as the ultimate entertainment spot in the area with its multi-screen Cinema, Fantasy Park, playground and also wide variety of indoor dining stores perfectly located in the top level food court with breath‐taking view over the Danube river. I would like to use this opportunity to thank everybody involved in the process of permitting for their professional support, especially to the Mayor of Belgrade Mr. Sinisa Mali, the heads of the secretariats and the Land development and construction agency for their efficiency and support- Rabia Shihab, GM at Plaza Centers, said.
