Tesla City will be built along new Zemun-Borca bridge? - BK Group is announcing construction of residential quarters in every bigger town in Serbia

"BK Group" has still been looking for the location for the announced construction of two million square meters in Belgrade and as one of convenient locations the space towards the Pupin bridge which connects Zemun and Borca is mentioned, eKapija finds out.

-Even the space towards "Nikola Tesla" airport could be used but we are still considering it, it should be done by experts who should check the site and other things – GM at BK Group, Ljubica Vukotic, says.

In mid- 2014, "BK Group" announced it created project for construction of business-residential complex "Tesla City" in Belgrade , on two million square meters, where 43.000 workers would be hired on construction and after the project completion 18.000 people would be hired and in the center of the complex, the International Financial Center, would be built and would generate at least EUR 20 billion to the budget of Serbia.

-We have been intensively working since "Tesla City" is the project which will employ entire Serbia and region. I can’t wait to start all that, to hire people, to support economy – our collocutor says.

In order to implement "Tesla city" project in Belgrade efficiently, whose value is EUR 4 billion, in September 2014, BK Group set up "Tesla City BK", but collocutor of "eKapija" says that company plans are not related only to construction and investments in Serbian capital.

- We will not build flats only in Belgrade. We will build residential quarters in every bigger town in Serbia of at least 50.000 m2 which we will sell at very favorable prices which will be affordable for people.. The square meter price will not exceed EUR 550 to 600. We have just been working on making plant for production of panel parts which will enable us to set up that price. Our objective is not to earn but to work and build, to generate minimal profit and that in every town in Serbia gets a complex like this one– Vukotic explains.

For our portal, GM at "BK Group" says that at the Fair of construction she got acquainted with the owner of a construction company from Novi Pazar with whom they agreed on partnership for the construction of 50.000 m2 in Novi Pazar.

He already has location which his company owns, we are willing to cooperate and I think the project implementation will start very soon – Vukotic says.

The collocutor of "eKapija" says that for them it is important that they are company which has something to show.

- We have examples of huge projects which we have already finished such as "Minsk white house" – city of million square meters, 60% is residential part and the rest is shopping and business centers. It was built as the world metropolis and we will transfer the model to Serbia– Vukotic concludes.
