Lidl purchased tender documentation for land in Leskovac
German trade chain, Lidl, purchased tender documentation and paid deposit to participate at an auction for land where now green market is at the bus station, Juzne vesti finds out from the sources close to local self-governance.
It is interesting
that as for now, Lidl is the only interested buyer and the auction is due
January 22. The initial price totals RSD 75.
The new market will imply construction of new outlets which will be demolished
at the old location.
Current sellers at the market should not be afraid of staying without their stands during construction since the entire process will be carried out in two stages and they will have room to function normally.
The entire project which the city Directorate developed totals some RSD 90 m. It will be funded from the city budget. The Directorate, Milenkovic says, provided funds totaling RSD 50 m for the market while the shops will be built through the Residential agency totaling RSD 40 m.
As he announced, mid-year should see the start of big infrastructure projects in this part of the town, first of all in development of roads near the future market and Lidl as well as the entrance of the city there.
