Raavex Group acquires Park hotel in Nis

Raavex group, a company of famous hotelier from Nis, signed a pre-contract on the acquisition of formerly most popular state-owned hotel in the town, the Park hotel.

As journalists of Juzne vesti were told at the company, agreement on purchase was accomplished but everything will end in the next months.

- Pre-contract defines acquisition in instalments and the entire business will end no sooner than next year, if everything runs smoothly. Our ambitions are to make the best hotel in the region and congress tourism is priority– Raavex says.

Price has not been known as for now but according to data at the website of the ST Nekretnine agency, where the advertisement for this hotel was published, it was estimated at EUR 1,9 m.

The Park hotel was built in 1937 at the location of Becir-beg monastic and king’s castle, next to the building where offices of the mayor of Nis are today.

Sale of the Park hotel is, according to the mayor of Nis, Zoran Perisic, a nice news. He thinks renovation of Park will contribute to better tourist offer of the town.

Former buildings of Srbija turist, hotels Ambasador, Ozren and motel Nais, as well as lot near the motel, have still been under hammer.
