Factory for Production of Chinese Vaccine to be Built in Belgrade Area – Operational from October 15?

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said for RTS that it was agreed in Abu Dhabi for a factory of the vaccines of the Chinese company Sinopharm to be built in Serbia.

– It will be a fully new, greenfield factory for the Sinopharm vaccines, which we will build together with the UAE and China in Serbia. The production starts on October 15 – the president said.

Vucic said that it was up to Serbia to find land and that it would have a new factory, which would also be able to produce other vaccines in the future.

– We are looking for land close to Belgrade, toward Surcin or in the Belgrade area – Vucic said for TV Pink.

He added that Serbia would then have “great quantities of vaccines for itself, but also for the entire region”.
