Nestlé in Japan to use robot to sell

Japanese branch office of Swiss "Nestle" announced it will soon begin using 100 humanoid Pepper robots designed by a French group as sellers.

This is the first time robots will be used as sellers, the Swiss company announced and added that humanoid machines, starting December will start selling in its big specialized stores in Japans and shops with Nescafé machines.

The robot, equipped with tablet will be able to provide explanations for different products to customers in an interactive, so-called natural manner. French company, Aldebaran Robotic, designed the smart robot.
