Serbia expands exports to Russia – trading procedures to speed up
The Minister of agriculture, Snezana Bogosavljevic Boskovic says for RTS that product range for the export to the Russian market was expanded as well as that new producers who want to export to Russia appear. A part of procedures was sped up but is not enough, the minister says.
Upon her appearance at Dnevnik RTS, Snezana Bogosavljevic Boskovic, said that agreement was achieved with the Russian party that control in export of meat and dairy products is carried out by our departments as well as that one part of procedures of export to Russia was sped up.
Still, the minister mentions it is not enough because some new facilities from Serbia could export to Russia but it is necessary to be at the approved list.
During the visit of the Serbian delegation in Russia, topic of the talks was expansion meat product range.
She outlines it is a huge support as well as serious requests which must be taken into account by all those operating in export to the Russian market. She also adds that Serbia must guarantees for the quality and origin of these products.
She outlines we are small country and that, when export of agricultural and food products from EU and Serbia to the Russian market compares, there is no need to worry.
Bogosavljevic Boskovic said she believes that, during the visit to Belgrade, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin will discuss cooperation of the two countries in the agriculture field as well with the official from Serbia, in the context of economic cooperation.
