What will happen to Aha Mura Prvi maj? – Serbian and Slovenian governments are looking for mutual solution

On Monday, October 13, 2014, in Ljubljana, the minister of trade , Zeljko Sertic and Slovenian minister of economy, Jozef Petrovic, agreed that two ministers work mutually on solving the problem with Pirot-based textile plant, Aha Mura Prvi maj.

They agreed to set up the working group comprising ministry company trade union representatives.

Ministers Sertic and Petrovic agreed that the situation Aha Mura is currently undergoing is very complex and outlined they will invest mutual efforts to find the best solution to overcome it.

After considering potential solutions for the problem Aha Mura Prvi maj, ministries agreed that mutual work of the Ministry of trade of Serbia and the Ministry of Economy of Slovenia should intensively continue. Pirot-based Aha Mura Prvi maj faced the problem to continue production and keep positions after Slovenian Aha Mura went bankrupt.
