Kras starts product placement in Japan and South Korea

In early October, the Kras confectionary started export of their candies to South Korea and they are planning the second shipment to Japan, Zagreb-based company announced.
As it was stated in the announcement, the shelves of Korean shops will see “kiki” and rubber candies while the second shipment of Kras waffles has already been planned for Japan.
New markets are result of long-term negotiations and cooperation with Korean and Japanese entrepreneurs after contacts at world fairs, the company outlines.
- Today, Kras generates nearly 50% of its profit in foreign markets, including countries from the region and EU. At the markets of Saudi Arabia, USA, Canada and Australia, we generate the biggest growth rates. In the first nine months, export to markets has increased by 12 % while total exports increased by 5,5%. Last year, we started exporting to the markets of North America so this one, export to Korea and Japan, is continuation of the efforts to find positions to new, propulsive markets where consumers’ habits are changing rapidly - Damir Bulic, President of Management Board at Kras outlines.
