Minor stockholders of "Putnik" expect from the State to carry out high-quality analysis of the delivered bids for takeover and selection of bidders whose references guarantee successful continuation of work of the company – said the President of the Assembly of minor stockholders, Darko Šuković, yesterday (April 9, 2007).

Reminding to the previous unsuccessful privatization of this company, Šuković said that the minor stockholders did not want to be cheated again and added that the estimates of the experts of minor stockholders were that the entire property of “Putnik” was worth at least 150m EUR and that the offered price for individual stocks should not be lower than 135 EUR.

- Most of minor stockholders warned broker companies that they will not sell their stocks at prices lower than 12,000 RSD – Šuković pointed out.

According to the data from the Belgrade Stock Exchange, single stock of company "Putnik" cost 5,000 RSD on April, which means that it exceeded the best price in the bid for takeover by 1,300 RSD.

Two bids have been delivered for the takeover of this company – the offer from Cypriot "Aciona", which offered 3,600 RSD per stock, and the offer of Russian citizen Dmitrije Luščenko who offered 3,700 RSD per stock.
