"Beograd put" to relocate production units and build new asphalt base

After the privatization of the city port, company "Beograd put" will have to relocate its production unit from this location. The Manager of this Belgrade-based company, Miloš Janković, reveals that the process of the selection of the new headquarters is in progress and that the tender for procurement of two large mobile units for production of cast asphalt will be announced soon.

According to his words, the "crown" of this-year investments will be the procurement of the new asphalt base, which will be built on this location, where all the units of the city road maintenance workers will be moved to.

Last year, according to all statistics, Public Utility Company "Beograd put", beaten all production records and continued “tradition” of productivity growth that started in 2001.

Total of 369,458 tons of asphalt mass has been produced, which is 10% more than in 2005. The production of cast asphalt has been increased by one fifth. The largest increase, 50%, has been registered in the production of polymer-modified bitumen – 3,500 tons.

The up-to-date machines of "Beograd put", the kind that would be the pride of even the most developed capitals of the world, can be seen in all parts of Serbia’s capital. Purchase of new modern machines is underway.
