Consortium of Club of Stockholders Novosti to be founded with wish of becoming majority stockholders Večernje Novosti

We wish to become majority stockholders of Novosti and not to sell our stocks. Because of that we will form special company Novosti as independent juristic person, which will be able to compete for procurement of stocks and make it possible for those who want to sell stocks to do it in the best possible way or to make majority package together with the strategic partner. Two existing associations of stockholders have accepted that idea before, but now they see it as unuseful and reject it - said the Management of the Club of minor stockholders Novosti talking about the future of the company.

Forming of the consortium is the answer to attempt for sale of stocks of Novosti to the "foreigners". Anonymous source from the Securities Commission confirmed that two of the bidders were WAC and certain fund from Lichteinstein, but people from Novosti say that there are more bidders and that the Englishmen are interested. WAC offered to buy 51 - 100% of stocks at price of about 2,000 EUR per stock and good investment and social program. Club of Stockholders Novosti is led by Manojlo Vukotić.
