Stone aggregate will soon be exported from quarry Oblatno Krtoli to Italy. The quarry is located some 15 km away from Tivat. Bar-based company "Nimont" started export of stone aggregate to Italian market in 2002. In the name of Italian company "Portolevante", the management of Nimont signed the pre-contract with the management of Tivat-based company "Račica", which is the concessionaire of the quarry. The contract with "Račica" will most probably be signed on period of ten years.

After the exploitation ends, very attractive space in Municipality of Tivat will most certainly be interesting for construction of hotel capacities and marina. Operative pier is being built intensively in the vicinity of the quarry. That pier will be put in operation after State institutions give their consent. The commencement of export of stone aggregate also depends on that. Operative pier will also be used for the tourist purposes and it will serve for the construction of future pier and, possibly, marina. At least 30% of concession fee will be spent on the construction of infrastructure facilities in Krtola.
