Austrians to take waste out of Novi Bečej - company "Brantner" invests 1.5m EUR in city sanitation department of city on the Tisa

Austrian company "Brantner" has been entrusted collecting and disposal of waste in the following 20 years on the territory of Municipality of Novi Bečej.

After recent signing of the contract between Mayor of Novi Bečaj, Milivoje Vrebalov, and Manager of company "Brantner", Christian Lampl, Austrian company promised to invest more than 1.5m EUR in that job within the next two years. Three trash-collecting vehicles have already been delivered to the city on the Tisa river.

The Asutrian also promised supply of about 8,000 trash cans and another 210 containers to the households of this municipality and their regular emptying.

The construction of the regional dump in Novo Miloševo, where waste treatment factory should be built, is in the pipeline. This is the first case that the foreigners invest in this sector in Vojvodina. This is also the first foreign investment into Novi Bečej ever.
