ANTIC: Coal sale starts

In Serbia, wholesale of coal in line with priorities will start, the minister of mining and energy, Aleksandar Antic, said.

Antic said that coal sale from domestic production which was halted due to needs of prioritized supplying of thermal power plants because pits were flooded, will start first to heat power plants,health institutions and schools.

When touring the flooded pit mine, Tamnava-Zapadno polje (Tamnava-West field) where the water pump down has been in progress, Antic said to journalists that priorities will be coal supplying to the retired, the disabled, special industries as well as production companies of public importance.
